Axis vs Allied Arena Information PDF Print

The Axis versus Allies arena, (AvA) is set up for historical gameplay. This is a two sided arena, a limited plane set, with reduced radar and icon ranges. Setups usually change every Friday. The AVA staff will rotate between theatres of operations and time frames. You will set setup’s from the Battle of Britain in 1940 to a 1945 setup in Japan. Eastern and Western Europe, Mediterranean, North Africa, and throughout the Pacific are theatres used.

Unlike the Main Arena’s field capture is not the focus, but rather fair and balanced aircraft engagements. Vulching is frowned upon as is spawn camping. All players are expected to behave in a polite and chivalrous manner. Rude heckling and insulting behavior will not be tolerated by any AvA staff.

Feel free to post any questions you may have in the AvA forum.

Happy Hunting!

Sincerely,

AvA Staff

AvA Staff Members

Fork - Has been a member of Aces High since beta 1.0. Longest serving AvA admin. Flown with 412, 13th TAS, 3/JG-2, and now with Hell's Angels in the MA and with JG54 and now with the Gunfighters in the AvA. ForkRule#2 - never underestimate your opponent cause he usually has a friend near by.

soda72 - Has been flying in Aces High since 2003. Originally started flying flight sims with WarBirds 1997-1999. Likes snowboarding and moutain biking. favorite planes f6f, il2, and hurri2D....

Panzzer - Has been in AH since December 2002, member of Lentolaivue 32. Likes the AvA for the fights and the comradeship the arena offers.

Oldman - Has flown AH since the demise of Air Warrior, December, 2001. Drafted to an assistant staff position in the never-to-be-repeated 2004 election. Provides conclusive proof that while years of simulation flying will not necessarily produce a competent pilot, they do ensure a happy one. Fiercely believes that WWII air combat games should pit historical opponents against each other; that AH is a sport, not a war; and that chivalry and good manners greatly enhance our favorite hobby.
